Based out of Denver, CO, Clay Street Unit is rooted deep in homegrown southern country and folk that branches into the bluegrass sound that’s heard throughout the Appalachian hills. Forming in early 2021, the band recently released their first EP in the fall of 2022 and just recorded their first full length album set to be released this year. Clay Street Unit is working on developing and pushing their own unique sound, with a high energy, fresh take on the tradition of American folk and country music that is sure to keep you moving.

Simon Cropp (Slapdash Bluegrass) is a flatpick guitarist and country and bluegrass songwriter. His performance style is equal parts dive bar bravado and fireside introspection. His writing channels traditional country themes of love, heartbreak, and cheap beer, winking at cliche without bending to it.
