Fat Sky is a jazz-funk quartet based in Ames, Iowa. The band draws from a wide array of musical influences stemming from the diverse background and experience of each of its members.

Shaped by elements of jazz, funk, progressive rock, classic rock, and fusion music, the band strives to play music that allows for improvisation while remaining accessible through its groove-based playing.

The band consists of Justin Berger (keyboards), Collin Dettmann (drums), Mike Goebel (bass), and Bob Lasnek (guitar).
